If On a Winter’s Night a Traveler…
So my new camera has an option to let you take multiple exposures on the one part of a film, this option is on the command dial right next to the button for self timer mode. I need the self timer because I tend to use just about anything as a prop to let me take long exposures in dim light.
I took a handful of photos in Rathmines church and used the timer as the lighting was very poor and I wanted to use f8/f11 to give me a nice depth of field for the internal shots. I needed a shutter speed slower than anything I could hand hold so I used the self timer and random church based props to hold the camera steady. Job done I headed into the city for dinner and a look around as is my want on a Saturday evening. I turned the dial from self timer and I must have selected the multiple exposure option.
In this one photo you can see including but not exclusively:
My wife.
An external photo of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners church in Rathmines
The church sacristy.
The church nave
The Temple Bar pharmacy
Meeting House Square
The inside of the Brick Alley Cafe.
Some apartments lit up for the night.
It has pretty much allowed to me record an entire evening in one messed up photo….
This is how they should have looked…

Kinda dreamy…
All eight shots in a single film?
Ha! Don’t bite off more than you can chew, mate.
I love it. Excellent accident.
Great work throughout your blog. Keep it up.
Thanks Rick, the feedback is appreciated..
Love these shots. Took your advice and asking for the same developer you use for Christmas so I can start doing my own B&W. Thank you so much – for these shots, for the support. Happy to follow your blog.
