C-41 Temperature Control

A few people have asked how I control the temperature of the chemistry when i’m doing C-41 development at home. My setup is pretty basic. I fill a basin with boiling water, put the bottles into it and the water in the basin cools and the chemistry warms. I return the chemistry to the water bath between rounds of film.

While I was heating mine this evening I made a silly mistake and you can watch the video to learn a lesson on what not to do.
